To many people it will be worth only a little above melt. To a memorabilia collector it could be worth a lot of money. Still, if it were mine and somebody offered me a few hundred dollars I'd take it unless I had that much in it.

It's not USA coin. It is a silver bullion piece, a commemorative coin/token. The guy offered US$1000 for it and will call me tomorrow night. I see one numbered in the 100's on e-bay listed for US$399. Maybe 1000 is a good deal for me?

If someone offered you a grand I'd take it. I see stuff all the time on ebay with ridiculous asking prices so I wouldn't put too much stock in that. A dead head might pay a lot. Other people wouldn't.

the only thing I listen to is XM 23/ Grateful Dead channel and I think the coind at the link are awesome looking but they are not worth anything more than silver prices.
