Yes... tell me about it! She has changed from regular smokes to pure tobacco and paper. However, it is the carbon monoxide that inhibits the enzyme that needs to be targeted. Going natural is the best.

Of course I don't have a financial interest. I have been on GLP for years and just found out about this from researching since my sister got diagnosed.

If you do know about cancer research, then you also should know that one has to pay millions of dollars for clinical trials. There are clinical trials on resveratrol (which is one type of salvestrol) and a few other kinds. Case studies were published in journals for peer review. Dr Dan Burke give lectures on it. He worked with Potter. You may call him a quack as well if you like. I am sure that doesn't keep him or Potter from making strides in this endeavor. Many doctors are now recommending salvestrol products. Do the research! I just bought some from a local doctor.

You also should know that you can't patent a herb or a plant or a fruit. No one would fund clinical trials - it's insane!

I am surprised that you are even reacting this way. Researchers should be open to all opportunities. So far salvestrols have been proven to eliminate cancer. All cancers.

What you should know is that although you can't patent a specific herb or plant you can patent a use for it or one of its constituents. Another quack-based myth I'm afraid.
The vast majority of regulated drugs out there are based upon plants.
ALL of these drugs have had clinical trials so why can't you perform them on salvestrols? Are they exempt for some reason?
