If the guy from behind was being an asshole with the car in front??? Not that that makes road rage okay but the facts please?? I have had a couple of light episodes myself......never fun and makes the BP skyrocket. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1272056 United States 04/02/2013 04:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pretty typical lol. Quoting: InnerFireBurning Ex-Navy guy here, and honestly that guy was basically just acting like a Marine. They are literally trained not only to be killers, but also to desire conflict and "pray for war", etc. All you have to do is watch Full Metal Jacket to get an idea what Marine boot camp can do to the mind of a human being. Some of the guys coming back from combat have a much better sense of reality though, that is if they didn't actually enjoy it like a sadistic psychopath (which some do). Although I wasn't a soldier, I did spend a lot of time boots on the ground in the middle east during my years of service. Even just being on a base and working in an office over there was a pretty serious wake up call for me. I had a Marine in Kuwait ask me "if I wanted him to bring me back a finger or an eyeball" during the invasion of Iraq. I said "no bro, I'm OK" and walked away to ponder what he had just said to me. To this day it still shocks the hell out of me. Marines will be Marines I guess, what you gonna do? complete bullshit ^^^ i have known a lot of marines from this marine base and friends of the marines i knew. they were almost all very respectful and nice dudes. marines do not act his way on average. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37230072 Because he is exactly what they are looking for. And, when he's done with his tour in the Marines he will be exactly what American police forces are looking for. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14016215 Violence and aggression is the ony way to deal with violence and aggression. It's the American way. well as this guy in the video shows the exact opposite is true. the driver was passive and calm. he dealt with it perfectly. no one died that day. |

I wonder why the guy would not talk to him. It seems this is why the marine went crazy because he just hit his car and would not talk but ignored him. That might make me upset too. Of course, not to the level as the marine but why wouldn't he talk to him? Quoting: PatiencePlz Most likely he jumped out of his car already shouting and screaming. That guy didn't want to "talk". He had some little piece of shit rice burner and I drive a full size truck. I felt a little bit of a bump as his car went airborn I'm pretty sure I saw his terrified face in a flash as it went end over end over end and flew into the ditch. Quoting: Taz He's probably having his dinner right about now through a straw. I got a setlentment and a new paint job and he lost the ability to walk. Road Rage is very real and very stupid. Maybe your too naive to understand that you were the agressor here? If you did that shit to me I don't care how fast I was going I would kill your whole family while you watched. I'm the aggressor ? I don't think so. Neither did all the other people on the highway who stopped or the responding emergency officials or the insurance companies. And I wasn't speeding. I was simply driving down the highway in my lane following the law. It's people like you with this pent up anger that cause these instances and ultimately bring harm to your selves and others. One of the many reasons I drive a full size 5 thousand pound vehicle because if you decide to slam into it laws of physics say I win. Every single time. Go fuck yourself. I'd have made his head a canoe. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37322347 It's wise to be careful when dealing with Marines since many of them have really extensive hand to hand combat training. I don't know who you are and what you are capable of, but most marines would tie the average guy up into a pretzel. In fact as a general rule its wise to be careful when dealing with anyone. A guy may look small or weak, but he could be so bad ass you wouldn't even see it coming. Some of the Akido masters are quite old and small, and they can still deal with like 8 pretty bad ass guys at the same time none the less. I would admit that the Marine in that video was pushing it though, and I was asking myself what I would have done in that situation. Probably the same thing in all honesty, because I think fighting over something like that is just beyond stupid. I have had people come up to me in the street for literally no reason and say things like "you got a problem" and I just started laughing at them and maybe say "no, I'm good" then walked away. Usually that will diffuse it, since you aren't escalating the situation. |

You didn't say he hit you, I thought you rammed him for cutting you off. Fuck him then. All you said was you were cut off. Give details. He attempted to cut me off because he was pissed at me for being at the end of the onramp when he entered the highway. I was expecting to be a mile ahead of him if he had been driving like a normal person but he was flying like a bat out of hell and hit the end of The onramp as I was passing by which forced him to slow down and get in behind me. This angered him so he flew around me stepped on the gas again and cut over into my lane his intention was to cut me off but instead he clipped the front of my truck. I never saw it coming I didn't even take my foot off the gas never in a million years did I expect him to do that I was powerless to avoid the accident or I would have. This happened in Orlando which is notorious for shity drivers I lived there many years. People fly in from all over the world and hop on roads they don't know in rental cars they have never driven and are in a huge hurry to get to the parks and they get in accidents. I now live in upstate NY which I am thankful to say people here drive VERY well. We get like 200 inches of snow a year it's snowing right now as I type this in April. Meh. Any way people break easy keep their distance watch for pot holes and slow moving Plows way way way better drivers here. Florida has some bad ones. |

What lol? I was in the Navy for 8 years pal. I worked with first MEF in Kuwait doing operations for the P-3s that were doing aerial recon for them. Given all the bases I was at or on over the years I was exposed to countless Marines. Marines are mostly barbarians, but they are trained to do that lol. It's literally their job to be first in combat effective killers. I don't see what you are even arguing here. The video posted is honestly a pretty typical Marine. Didn't you see how the other guys around him weren't acting like it was that uncommon or a big deal lol? They just didn't want him to get in trouble most likely, and that's probably it. Marines also live their life by rules and regulations, so getting caught was no doubt on his (their) mind. |

I sometimes find myself going 70km in a 90km zone with heaved roads so bad my tires scrape my fenders hard as fuck. People get mad cause I slowed down to a washed out road. Just lol and drive, may or may not flip my finger for a solid 10-30seconds in some cases. |
