im poor, i have 1300, want to buy 1000 in silver coins, should i buy now? or wait till price goes down even more?

Do you have enough food for your family for six months? Do you have ammo for a year? Do you have heirloom seeds? Do you have a supply of antibiotics?

If you are "poor" you shouldn't be investing in anything other than essentials.

i have 1300 to invest. 1000 on silver, then next few pay checks on going to stock up on storable food and survival gear. but it seems like a good time to buy silver so silver first.

Silver is seasonal, and we're entering the weak part of the year. You have between now and fall to wait for a better entry point. I've been investing in metals for 13 years, and now is NOT the time to buy. Like someone else pointed out, buy food, ammo, etc. first. You can't eat silver.

Go look at a long term silver chart and you'll see what I mean. I'm waiting for 17-19 to reload my silver. I remember when it hit 30 last time, and everyone was saying buy buy buy. Silver plunged to 8 bucks then.

Silver is a very risky asset, and if you don't have other investments, this is NOT the place to start.

clean water source or purification method
guns n ammo
cash 60%...and NOT all in a bank!
gold 20%
silver 20%

If you only have 1,300 I'd buy silver halfs and some junk silver.
