What clause in the 2A says 'Shall not be infringed(Unless convicted of a crime & released from prison)... Any 'felon' that buys a gun legally is likely going to use it legally. Believe me, if a felon wanted a dirty gun to do a crime with, it would be much easier to go to the hood and buy a throw away glock for $100... Over 70% of 'felons' in this country are there for victimless drug crimes anyway, they serve their time, that should be the end of it. Of course it never is, they get out, can't get a job or housing, and are forced to become a better felon. The system is irreparably broken...I really don't give two shits anymore. |

I agree, but to address your first question from your first paragraph, it's covered in Amendment 5. Repeal the 17th Amendment and the Reapportionment Act of 1929! Thread: First steps down the road to a return to the Constitutional Republic that we were intended to be. Restore the Republic. Thread: The Bill of Rights does NOT include age requirements! It's a flower, not something to be feared. - Moo! |

You should be sentenced, and your consequence is fulfilled. Limiting gun ownership, voting rights, public office, housing and jobs through background checks, certain occupational licenses, etc.. is essentially a life sentence. And you are 100% correct about most felons aren't even a threat to society... unless they are essentially barred from participating in it. Luckily, and thanks to "wokeism", I don't identify as a felon. |
