All 53 children at the facility, five of them infants, are safe. The fatalities include a male daycare worker as well as the gunman. Parents and guardians were scrambling to retrieve their children from the scene as investigators tried to piece together what happened. Police say they cleared the children from the daycare, which occupies two adjacent homes, and found two adults dead. It isn't immediately clear how much of the incident the children might have seen. She was not at the daycare when he arrived. She was either in a love thing or in a business arrangement with the male daycare worker. Charron came in, didn't find her, found him, killed him. Then killed himself. At least 5 toddlers witnessed it. Natalie arrived to find the bodies. Children who didn't witness the actual killing were told it was all a pretend test for the fire alarm. One kid, 4, said then how come there were no fire engines. He was a real estate agent in Quebec and France I believe.
