Before we get too distracted with North Korea...
Just remember that the Gun control legislation comes up in the senate on Thursday. The democrats think they have the 60 votes to block the filibuster that rand Paul, Cruz, Rubio and even Mitch McConnel are threatening.

Saw a clip on libtard TV while ago (msnbc) where the Pres was downtalking and trying to badger the motion.

I want to remind everyone of something from a few years ago.

They keep telling us that 90% of Americans want gun control legislation. I completely disagree with those numbers. I know quite a few people and "none"...believe this is the solution to the problem they "say" they are trying to address. We all know if you take the guns away from law abiding citizens, only the criminals have guns. These are the people that are killing, not the law abiding gun owners.

Anyway...even if that percentage is close (and I don't think it is) this is just another lead up to a disaster like "the Patriot Act"...

They caught eveyone all emotional after 9-11 and swept freedom crushing legislation through. Guess what they are doing again? They keep dragging the families around of the victims of Newtown...trying to keep the shock and horror alive and well. They are intentionally trying to keep people emotional...why? because most people are not logical or use critical thinking when they are emotional.

They have tried to pound this legislation through asap while it is still an emotional topic. I thank the Senators that are doing their jobs and swearing to defend the Constitution...

But that is just my opinion...

Just tossing this back up for the folks that might just be getting home for dinner on the east coast.

Don't let the North Korea doom distract you from the snakes in Washington DC. The Democrats are trying to push this through the Senate. (It will never pass the House though...BUT).

we put up a list last week or so about the Senators (traitors) that voted for the UN gun resolution. Lots of people got upset about it.

If this gun legislation goes to vote, we need to do the same thing...collect all the names of the Senators (traitors) that voted against the Constitution and make them very public. ( I realize they are public record but most of thesheep do not even know where to find the info)

Last time I checked, it is "their job" (Senate and House) to defend the Constitution. In my personal opinion...a vote for this legislation "should be considered" a dereliction of duties and should be removed from office immediately. It might not be considered treason (though it should be) but they should not be allowed to finish their terms if they vote for it.

Trying to change a fundamental right is not protecting it.

I agree and isn't it very convenient for them at this time and place? I don't trust them. Watch what will happen.

5 Star's!

Here's my ongoing thread documenting the ALL OUT agenda that's been at play since 12-15-12 (the day after Sandy Hook):

the 90% figure is for people who support background checks, I think.

The quote is in reference to 90% of people allegedly supporting universal background check, which would lead to the dreaded database & some sound the foundation for eventual confiscation. But really there cannot be any loopholes. You can't just allow criminals and others to slip through. It would not be a problem if the people could trust government not to abuse its power. Therein lies the problem.

This is it in a nutshell. Once you have universal "law abiding citizen" registration...then whenever they want, they come and get them.

I'm sure all the "criminals and thugs" will stand in line to register their guns. rolleyes

There is no "right" answer to make everyone happy. I will never be convinced that control and prohibition has ever stopped or reduced criminal activity...in fact, it usually increases it.

Once you make something illegal or hard to obtain, the black market is always happy to provide a route around it...for a price of course...but the option will be there and the violence and crime will not stop.

We need to go back and look at how things were done in the past...1970ish. Look at the school curriculum...look at how they were state managed. The violence problem we have today springs from improper education and discipline...period. At home and at school.

This agenda has been in the works LONG before Sandy Hoax.

Real people have been dying for this agenda for a decade or more.
