Need some good vacation ideas

Anyone?

Well depends on your budget and what you like to do.

Staying in the U.S.? Overseas? Are you a Vegas kind of person or a National Parks kind of person?

Yeah it's important to get it right - vacation time is few and far between - quite precious in fact.

No passport so has to be domestic, I was thinking about a cruise but I'm having trouble finding someone that would go with me (double occupancy).

Can spend up to $3000

If you live in Cocoa Beach you should be good and beached out by now.
For adventure and that type of thing, I would head to the Rockies. Denver or Colorado springs.
Hiking, White water rafting, zipline and that sort of stuff.
You will have a blast!

If you like country music, Brandon Missouri. There are nice lakes for fishing also.

I go to Aruba every year but I live in ny so I get no beaches.

Another idea would be to get an open ticket for Amtrak and you don't have to worry about a car and you can hop on and hop off at different cities and stay a day or two and see the sites and whatnot. You can go online and see what type of events are in which cities.
You would meet lots of interesting people and be able to just chill and look out the window, read or whatever in between destinations.
Very adventurous to live out of a suitcase for a week or so.

Oh and depending on what your income is and if you have a credit card there are lots of timeshare properties that will let you stay for next to nothing if you listen to their sales presentation.
Combine a few of those in different cities and you can save quite a bit of money and have great accomodations and usually those places have lots of activities, too.

Might be a cool thing to do if you drive up the east coast and stop at Savanah, Charleston, Raleigh, Williamsburg VA, etc.
Or you could do the same thing up in New England.

Damn! Now I want to go somewhere! LOL
