I am completely ignorant but I would like to learn. Therefore, if I may ask, just how good is N. Korea's missile technology? The impression I get of the nation is that, as testament to the condition of the people, all the resources are diverted to developing their military arsenal. Does it stand to reason, then, that their capabilities could possibly catch us off guard?

I probably know about as much as you do about North Korea, but I feel that it is certainly a possibility that they have more advanced technology than we think they do. The capabilities they could have from funneling most of their resources into military development is not something that should be underestimated.

However, the conspiracy theorist in me says that North Korea probably won't be the ones to actually fire the first shot.
