Raymond Pritchett ‏@Galrahn 20m Many Intel analysts have assessed the situation exactly like this. Means ballistic missile firings are not the end. “The North Korean media made no mention of the U.S. announcement earlier this week that it was delaying an ICBM missile test so as not to worsen tension. That is the first time in a month that the North has not registered a U.S. military announcement. The failure to acknowledge the announcement means the North Korean leaders have no interest in easing tension; no desire to de-escalate. They are closed to crisis avoidance messages.” — John McCreary, former veteran Defense Intelligence Agency analyst, in his latest independent NightWatch blog post. It's a dangerous game, but it would prove very fruitful if the see how we set up against them militarily/politically -but the only real way to sell it is to go ALL-IN!!! Lavrov also pointed out that " there is a chance that everything will calm down." |

NK don't want to launch, IMO. They know if the US/Japan shoots down the rockets it will be a massive boost to the US and its missile defense program, and a massive blow to the NK regime's tactics as their missile program will now become useless. So, instead they're going to move more and more into a firing position to make it look like they're preparing for something big - in the hope it will scare their enemies into deescalating the situation before they fire. |

Obama mentioned in a speech last week that the US could handle another 9/11. Ry Dawson (Boiling Frogs) suggested that all of this international pressure is leading up to a false flag to get a war started in the region. This is all about China of course and has little or nothing to do with North Korea. But NK may just be caught up in everything and the leader has no experience to de-escalate. He cannot back down and save face. He has to keep going. It's the beginning of the end for him. |

Yes, because if the only goal was to consolidate Kim power and credibility, he could have used this announcement, and say to his people "You see? Americans fear us", and go out the crisis easy. But if they keep going on... 1/ Kim is really mad and out of control by NK military. 2/ They really want to invade SK and think that they have weapons and/or allies to win against SK, USA and allies. |
