It's pretty sad you guys feel like this. The statistics might be true, but why are you guys being so nasty about it? I feel very sorry for you guys having been born into this world if you think it's all about color, that very thing is what brings minorities down. Europeans have contributed a lot to growth, but also a lot of destruction! If it wasnt for Europeans stealing land from the natives and enslaving blacks in America, maybe things would be different. Plus, the whole system works against blacks and natives in many ways. The whole topic stems a lot from ones belief system. I doubt a lot of the racists on this page believe in God because you seem to think life is all about the material and physical, color, status, civilization, etc. I'm a believer in God. Life isn't about this stuff. Perhaps if the Europeans were more modest and thoughtful and respectful of life and others, things would be very different. This discrepancy is not new. It has been going on for years all over the US. Most people are already aware of it.

There have been a few neighborhood studies done where it was found that poverty was a bigger factor than race. The poorest black neighborhoods as well as the poorest white neighborhoods had higher violent crime rates. This is just a handful of studies, so it does not say anything one way or the other about the country overall. It is very interesting to consider, however.
