The word "Unconstitutional" is almost a joke these days!

Look at "Don't ask, Don't Tell!" (That was clearly unconstitutional and they got away with enforcing it on the entire military for how many years until it was finally repealed?

Look at DOMA! This law singles out a special class of people and says they cannot marry! While it doesn't do that in so many words, that is the full and final effect of this piece of shit law that Bill Clinton signed so he could suck up to the Religious Right (who wouldn't vote for him anyway after he was caught with his shlong, several fingers and a cigar, all in Monica! = Remember??)

Look at the law that was repealed in the 70's that forbid marriage between the races! Think that wasn't 'unconstitutional"? Yes, it was but it took years to get thrown out!

What is or is not Constitutional is allowed to become law on the signature or ignoring by the president (he has to veto something to forbid it going into law without his signature solely on the say-so of the legislature. Then it can take YEARS and MILLIONS IN FUND RAISING TO GET THE DAMNED THING REPEALED! In the interim, the "unconstitutional" law operates and allows all sorts of later "illegal" actions to take place.

If the US Constitution still meant anything to the Supreme court or to Congress and the Senate, they would check laws BEFORE they're introduced, for their constitutionality. NOT AFTER THEY BECOME LAW! Our system is seriously flawed in this (and many other) ways!

I was once proud of being a native New Yorker. The whole city has gone made after the horror of 9/11 and they're taking the rest of the nation with them to hell in a Disney-esque handcart! Pity. I preferred the OLD NYC. At least it had character and many less 5 million dollar coops, too! NYC is becoming a hide-out for the ultra-rich and they're secure in the fact that these draconian laws won't touch them much. They can, after all, afford a rent-a-armed-guard whenever and where ever they choose or think one might be of use. For a mere $140/hour, anyone can. But how many can afford that kind of an escort for an afternoon or evening out? Damned few for a little while and most of us, can't afford that at all. So we will become victims because of our inability to even own or carry a handgun. Lovely! NY has lost it! Absolutely lost their minds, IMHO!

I don't know if you all are aware of this, but under obamacare, they can get your medical records now. In the past few years, all doctors, hospitals( religion ), pharmacy's, ect are putting all paper files into the computers. All information is entered into a huge medical data base. I think cannabis patients are also on the list. This is why some states made it legal.

If you have something in your medical file ( now digital ) it is flagged. Your criminal records are also digital.

And any permits, like applying for concealed gun permits, hunting & fishing, firewood cutting, drivers license, this list goes on.


All this information is compiled into a huge database. You are profiled accordingly. Makes tracking and pickup much easier for whoever.

Of course, all this info, and then some ( emails, forums, for personality profiling )will go on the new smart ID/credit cards, and or some RFID chip or RFID tattoo.

yeah and those gun background checks, forget about it. Dont fill out any of those now, they go straight red flagged, knock knock on your door later.
