"A secret recording of a campaign strategy session between U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell and his advisors was taped by leaders of the Progress Kentucky super PAC, says a longtime local Democratic operative. Mother Jones Magazine released the tape this week. The meeting itself took place on Feb. 2. Jacob Conway, who is on the executive committee of the Jefferson County Democratic Party, says that day, Shawn Reilly and Curtis Morrison, who founded and volunteered for Progress Kentucky, respectively, bragged to him about how they recorded the meeting. Conway says neither the local nor the state Democratic party had any part in the incident." LOL |

If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Been there too long, and creates too many problems for the right. Quoting: secretninja Lets get him outta there and get us a real conservative leader, Texas Senior Senator, Minority Whip John Cornyn in there. I know what you are saying, Secret, but McConnell is the victim here and the media is portraying him as the villain. We have to stop allowing the left to set the narrative and the agenda. They can not be allowed to decide who is held accountable to the law and who isn't based on party affiliation. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 754536 ![]() 04/11/2013 04:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The list of things that the Republican party has failed to pursue is extensive. How many could we list just regarding Obama? The fact that they do not go after that which is obvious low-hanging fruit should give us reason to suspect complicity. Each day I grow more adamant that the bicameral system is nothing more than opposite sides of the same coin. |

They sound like typical peace, love and equality leftist dirtbags... Why were they even allowed in the building? Something really stinks... |

"WASHINGTON, D.C. - Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., responded Wednesday to criticism of remarks he made Tuesday about the Senate's background check bill. Said Inhofe: "I think it's so unfair of the administration to hurt these families, to make them think this has something to do with them when, in fact, it doesn't," Inhofe told the Huffington Post on Tuesday in regard to families of those killed in the Connecticut school massacre." [link to www.tulsaworld.com] He is absolutely right!!! These families are being used to put emotional pressure on the Senators to ensure that they vote the way the President wants them to or be called insensitive. |
