Good post OP! |

Both sides just want to keep feeding at the trough, they just take turns playing good cop and bad cop. Both the Dems and Repubs are enemies of the people. Notice that there is NO OPPOSITION by the Republicans (with the sole exceptions of maybe Rand Paul and Ted Cruz) to the Obama admin on anything. John Bonehead is particularly useless. |

Mark Kirk says the real driving force behind the gun deal that was hatched by bipartisan work was booze and boat retreats. Quoting: peer pressure proof The Illinois Republican said to reporters that visits to the Black Tie, a yacht owned by Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin, played a large role in the Democratic-Republican come-together over background checks and other legislation related to gun control, Roll Call reported. “You guys really ought to go out to National Harbor and see the Black Tie, which has been much of the reason for much of the bipartisan cooperation around here,” he said, as quoted in Roll Call. Frequent visitors to the luxury vessel: Democrat Sen. Kay Hagan and Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Mr. Kirk said. “Sometimes alcoholic beverages might be served and ties might … get loosened,” he said, in Roll Call. Saturday, December 11, 2010 The first many of us ever heard of Diane Dileo Luensmann was sometime after the infamous February 2003 purchase of the yacht, "Black Tie" (a 54 foot Sea Ray Sundancer 540)! Diane and her husband, Charles "Chuck" Luensmann, III, in partnership with then West Virginia Secretary of State Joe Manchin and his wife Gayle Manchin, bought the yacht for $620,000 (The Charleston Gazette, March 5, 2006). The four of them then formed a company for their ownership of the yacht -- Harbor Side Marine -- and incorporated it in Delaware on March 6, 2003, even though Joe Manchin was the WV Secretary of State! In the interim, Charles and Diane Luensmann filed for bankruptcy in Massachusetts but did not initially disclose their half-interest in the $620,000 yacht. Diane Luensmann's husband died in 2004 and sometime after May 2005 she moved into the Governor's Mansion with then newly elected Governor & Mrs. Joe Manchin. Though the exact length of time Diane resided in the Mansion is unknown, it was later rumored that Manchin had helped her find a home, maybe just before he gave her a job as his liasison to the Democratic Governors Association in December 2005. ... They create the illusion of authority by buying off state governments with their fiat money script issued by the federal reserve at the order of our "treasury". A grass roots effort to elect Governor's with a real pair and a firm foundation in our founding principles would go a looong way towards exposing this charade for what it really is. |
