I don't give a shit what the inteltards are fear mongering about, they just aren't that far along yet. I also seriously doubt that their first "test" was an actualy nuke...it's more likely IMO that they piled a thousand tons or so of high explosive into a hole in the ground and called it a "Nuke"...now their second test, that's more of a coin toss, possibly a low yeild nuke, also very possible it was just a shitload of high explosives. The third test?...that IMO was an atomic bomb...there is much more evidence that points to that...I also, contrary to the statements that were put out, believe that was more likely than not a Uranium Bomb of the "Hiroshima bomb" type. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1303190 Australia 04/13/2013 02:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If Lil Kim was a student of history, which I doubt since he seems like a tard, he would realize he has a rare golden opportunity to take on the US and defeat it (or at least stalemate, which is a victory for them). Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37819090 He now has two incredibly incompetent leaders in Obama and Hagel, just like in the Vietnam war with LBJ and McNamara. He can lose every battle (which he most assuredly would), just like in Vietnam, but still win the war. War isn't entirely just battles and military conflict. He wouldn't survive long enough to read his own history. If this went off, it would not be like any other war we or any other has ever fought before. In no time in history has any other country had so much conventional firepower pointed at a major city that has 40% of a major industrialzed nation's population. NK does, it would have to be fearest fastest neutralization of an enemy that the world has ever seen, ot it'll be the bloodiest bombardment that the world has ever seen...ever..even during WWII there was nothing that would compare. It would be horrific, to say the least. There is never going to be any sort of ground war like vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq or any other war/military action. Chemical and radiological suits will become the new standard issue uniform of ROK and US soldiers. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20343854 and what do you think it might take to "remove" the current regime in NK?...some harsh language? That won't happen without a large scale military operation that would be war...so who would undertake that?... Once again, if you are hoping for a war between China and the US over North Korea, it won't happen. The US and China would tag team North Korea, and once the regime is gone, a new regime will be put into place to act as a buffer between the South and China. SHR (OP) Forum Administrator 04/13/2013 02:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | there's a scale showing the size of nukes. figured i would add it, since you mentioned the hiroshima bomb in relation to newer nukes, in power/size etc It is also not just a matter of Yeild/ouput in gross kilo or mega tons, it's the actual size of the "bomb" itself vs how much yeild they have...in general, the smaller and more compact you wish to make your bomb, the more complicated it must be to have the same or near yeild as one that might be far larger and therefore much more difficult to put on a missile, which are also limited in size, if you want to have any sort of deployability to them. Sure you could build a missile the size of a Saturn V rocket and put a Czar bomb on it...but you need everything that goes along with making and operating a misile the size of a sky scaper...it's also not too easy to hide...you could build a shitty low yeild simple nuke, but even then, it takes a very large rocket to carry it anywhere... The trick is to get a small enough nuclear bomb with a decent yeild into a missile that can carry it where you want to go and isn't a behemoth...that is not so easy...and North Korea has struggled with getting it's missiles to go anywhere succesfully through their stages...much less where they want them to go. I will say this though....they do seem to be getting better at it...and if left unchecked...I'm also sure they'd eventually make it to where they could create a viable missile with a nuclear warhead. ____________________________________________________ E-mail anytime [email protected] Inquiring about a ban?, include the IP address found here. I am curious why you dismiss their ability to mount a nuke on one of their missiles. With most of their "friends" in the world having ICBM's and nukes, it stands to reason that they very well may be years or possibly technical generations ahead of where we estimate them to be - at least publicly. We are just now hearing the DIA estimate which suggests that they very well may be able to mount a warhead on either their new ICBM or some other system where we had heard nothing but denials in the past. It feels a little bit too real. Especially considering how Gen. Dempsey damn near shit himself when he was asked about it on record. I dunno. Just more to think about I guess. Either way, great work. |
