I am both saddened and angered by this. And the worst part of it is, you know this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Robbing a liquor store will get you 20 to life, a mercy killing of a dying person could be a capitol murder offense, but killing a baby, that's ok. There are people in Texas doing 5-99 for having sex with a teenager, sometimes the age difference is as little as 1 year. Gets votes...'tough on crime'. But not a damned one of them really cares about the victims. I know, I've seen it first hand. They don't care about right or wrong, only about perception and looking good to the lowest common denominator. This is why Texas prisons are chock full of innocent people convicted in a twisted system of so called justice, but organized pedophile rings and murderous "doctors" that murder children are protected by the "system". Those of you calling this a 'liberal' problem are ignorant. The ones doing the protecting here are all "right wingers", and the majority of the participants are as well.
