Boston Bombing: Possible WMD Attack (people still told to stay indoor)
No one has officially claimed a dirty bomb, lets get that clear first. But that doesn't mean we would not be lied too.

There are three facts about the Boston bombing that is disturbing.

1- The Mayor told people to "stay indoors" that night versus "stay out of the area".

2- Boston is the city that hosted several dirty bomb scenarios.

3- National Guard response sealing the area off.

Plus- Initial reports from hospitals said many patients ill. That was quickly pulled.

I personally have a strong feeling the bomb was designed to injure more then kill. Which would make sense IF the runners were to be used to spread the bio or radiological material. As these runners come from around the world, it is a perfect target to spread a deadly bio/virus or radioactive material. If you kill the targets, they don't spread the material.

Even though the bomb blew sideways into peoples legs, there were distinct white plumes.

We will see. As far as the attacker claiming responsibility, they may just wait until the full effect of the bombing has been discovered or known.

A dirty bomb can utilize very weak radiological material. The problem is the material bonds with concrete and steel. Exposing people who walk past it on a daily basis, which means people will avoid the area all together. Killing the city.

Probably not a dirty bomb. I suspect that Boston has radiation detectors like NY. If it had been a dirty bomb all the people in the area would have been lighting them up on the subways since that was probably the only way most spectators had to get out of the city since it is next to impossible to find parking on a normal day.

Not so, the radioactive components are not highly radioactive like spent uranium.

The cobalt or cesium used is primarily weak to the sensors yet enough to cause cancers if you walked by it daily.

The levels above back ground aren't too high, but enough to harm people.

Apparently they are accurate enough to pick up someone who had a nuclear stress test.

So basically you are saying that this guy on the subway got more of a dose of radiation in a medical procedure than your supposed dirty bomb would give to passers by?

Yes and no. It is still up to chaotic forces of wind, dispersal, how much is ejected from the package, etc.

BUT a dosage of radiation lower then a CAT scan CAN cause cancer if you walk by it or work by the source 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

So yes, a radioactive particle that is weaker then the threshold for detection can be effective. It is the human mind that fears which is the driving factor of a dirty bombs effect.

Who in their right mind will walk by a radioactive area even if the area was as strong as a CAT scan or dental xray?

That is what kills the city, people fearing the radiation. Which is why it will be kept secret from the masses. Because it is a manageable disaster IF the public doesn't know.

Plus, the theory is a WMD attack which can be biological or chemical. Well, obviously not chemical now.

But biological makes sense as well. Do not kill the victims so they spread the illness. Best to pick a target where people come from around the world.

Now that I could almost believe. If it is going to take weeks and weeks of constant exposure to finally make you ill it hardly seems worth the effort.

Tuck yeah AC, that was my fisrt "gut feeling " when I saw how the bomb exploded...plus the white smoke. To me it just seemed to lack the power of any "bomb " and appeared to act more like a "delivery " method for something. I think we ' re right and being lied to.

It isn't getting sick from weeks of exposure, it's people refusing to work next to a source that WILL cause health issues over your career.

When people refuse to work in a "mild" radiation zone, the property value drops and the city starts to die.

It is a way to kill a city

Especially since a hospital commented how many patients were "ill". Which could mean many things but.....could mean they are infected. Try to find that comment, I can't but I KNOW I saw it.

Why else would the hospitals have National Guard for a bomb that only killed 3-4 people. I get it but, that is over kill UNLESS the injured are to be watched carefully over the next few days.

Have you ever been to Boston? It is a crime ridden liberal sanctuary city run by a bleeding heart "progressive" for the last 20 years. It has been dying all on it's own for years. Not a dirty bomb dude.

The whole thing just seems off...on purpose again. Way too many blunders like other recent tragedies. Watching the people in the videos it looked like watching people who had rehursed (Poorly at that) it once before ; like watching robots maybe? I cant be the only one to notice this. Control by fear....cant have one tucking day of peace anymore. Speaking of peace, the poor little boy that was killed holding that peace sign seemed off too. God, I cant stand to think that way but come on people what is with the "perfect "photo ops all the time?

No that is just a comment. If you use your extreme paranoia as a reason to include possibilities you may not be well suited to this sort of thing either.

I am out of this thread I will let you people scare yourselves over nothing.

lol, nothing paranoid here. Just pointing out the facts.

White smoke = efficient combustion = military explosives

Lace shrapnel with a biological and let the few who got hit w/o hospital visit spread the biological. Which is why the targets were wounded and not killed.

Now you have 20+ city blocks closed, lock down, 9k+ cops for a crime that killed 3 people.

There is a lot more to this, many see it now.

bump this is all too much for a bombing. The government would rather have you out shopping and acting normally so they can profit.

If the government has people stay home, there is a reason for that greater then money.

Remember 911 when we were told to go back to work? That was also said with a known carcinogen drifting in the air. They didn't care then and they don't care now.

I am serious, I really believe there were biological weapons in the bombs. Either airborne or embedded in the shrapnel.
