They are starting a witch hunt out there for those of us who were reporting that the missing Brown university student was a suspect. I know a LOT of us heard that on the scanner that night, but I am even seeing stories now where the authors claim to have listened to the entire thing and nowhere is he mentioned in the audio.

THIS may well end up being a severe backlash and may not end well. The articles out there I am running across are pretty angry, acting like we were making a witch-hunt out of speculation alone - I heard it loud and clear on the scanner, loud and frigging clear. Someone else chime in here as well, I know plenty heard it also.
