And another thing, the media is going on about how all the people were forced to stay inside and had to be "cooped up" in their homes for so long . . . what the hell? What, for less than 24 hours? They act like they've been imprisoned with no access to food and water and conveniences.

It's strange how the act itself (shooting up movie theater, shooting up school, bombing boston marathon)is not as strange as the human interface/behavior with the event.

Yes, but from what I heard from folks living in nearby communities, you could've looted the whole town and never feared the police - because they were ALL in Boston. So, a nice show of force for TV, but not indicative of much else.
