As auntie Marnet decries, the only "evidence" provided by the FBI is grainy, censored surveillance video footage, with the implicating bits mysteriously omitted, on the grounds that the agency wanted merely to supply the public with the clearest images so as to prompt facial recognition. If it IS true that the remainder of the video (withheld) clearly depicts one or both of the suspects depositing bags at the exact site of the blasts, standing around to observe the carnage before walking casually away, why cannot the FBI also air this video (or some portion of it, such as the setting-down of the bags), as a token of proof. As Auntie correctly claims, the "evidence" she has been shown comprises mere images of her nephews, walking and standing, nothing more nor less. What is most suspicious is that Tarmelan had been profiled and counseled by FBI for years, according to mother Zubeidat. CNN, MSNBC and other "mainstream" news outlets have similarly announced that Tarmelan was subject to FBI review years ago, per allegations of extremist ties according to a tip by an unspecified foreign government. If that is the case, WHY in the world did the FBI have to release the photos to the public for "help" in the identification of the pictured suspects? Clearly they already had a file on Tarmelan and should have been able to ID him and his brother without the assistance of amateur sleuths, flooding their hotlines with false leads and misinformation. |
