Dead Battery on Dzhokar's phone led to capture?

I bet he lost the police scanner feed and had no choice but to remain holed up in the boat. He was probably aware of the perimeter and went a few more blocks outside it, monitoring police activity and his chance to escape. But then it died and he had no idea the lockdown was lifted.


I hope they release details on any mobile devices he was carrying with him. And if he were, how his location wasn't GPS'd.
