I think it's pretty obvious - the bombing suspect WAS killed. The media reported on incident before they had all the facts as they had been doing all week. This guy has nothing to do with the bombing or the suspects.

There was a totally separate call on the police scanner about some naked guy on a lawn, domestic disturbance. The rabid media picked it up and ONLY AT FIRST thought it was related until it was explained to them that it had nothing to do with the bombings.

Believe it or not, police still get other calls and domestic disturbances even while investigating a bombing.

Now please stop with this ridiculous disinformation.

And get over yourselves! Someone halfway around the world is not going to spot some detail that is totally missed by the eyewitnesses and the entire rest of the world!

You're actually right. They thought it may have been, but they ended up letting that guy go.

I know that main thread is ungodly long....but I was one of the ones up all night monitoring the live feeds, both video and police scanners.

That is the suspect that they arrested after the first shootout.....NOT Tamerlan.
They made this guy lay in the road and strip naked before they would get near him in case he had explosives on him.
He was released not long after...

At the time this happened...this guy just happened to be walking in the wrong area and was carrying a black backpack.
I saw him splayed out on the ground and he was scared shitless and trying his best to be a statue.

This was happening well after Tamerlan had already been taken to the hospital.

Those of us who stayed up all night, listened to the Boston scanner, watched CNN, and posted on the MIT thread, know that this video is "the naked man" who is some poor schmuck that was in the wrong place at the wrong time and thought by the police to be the younger brother.

He was made to lie on the sidewalk face down with his hands out for some time. Then told to strip naked. Then walked naked to the poiice car.

The reason he was told to strip naked is because the older brother had already been taken to the hospital and found to have the IED strapped to his chest. He arrived at the hospital with 'blast injuries' per the doctor who treated him [he arrived DOA] and gave an interview that night.

It was during the confustion of the arrest of "the naked man" that the younger brother escaped on foot.

It was announced that night that the naked man was not the other brother and that the other brother was still at large. As soon as the police figured that out, they set up their perimeter and kept searching for the younger brother.

All of this is memorialized on the MIT thread.

Naked guy wasnt him. It was another male teenager in a hoodie but he had a knife on him so police thought it was him. He stripped down and was after interogation not him. Just a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time

Correct... it was another guy who was in the residence when they raided. He gave up willingly and nakedly.
