Ozi dude User ID: 25272147 ![]() 04/23/2013 01:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How the hell could anyone see a bunch of cops and soldiers in full combat gear going house to house as justified to find a 19 year old kid? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35385634 It is difficult to coment on this because you are 100% right on what you say. But what if they were given info the kid who just killed, mained and terrorised 1000s was hidding in that house or in a house in that bloke. Then the situation becames a little less black and white. What I am saying is that not all cops are bad and just waiting to pushing around the average person. In fact the majority of police are the exact opposite. |

antaya habraham User ID: 30925262 ![]() 04/23/2013 01:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WATERTOWN, MA -- On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches. Excellent catch!! ..another thread quotes bloomberg saying we're gona have to lose some of our 'privacy' and 'reinterpret' OUR CONSTITUTION... THAT'S A NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO THAT IS 'OUR' CONSTITUTION, BELONGS TO 'ALL' OF US. can you imagine..if they also forced elderly in wheelchairs, families with lots of kids and babies, halfway houses for people w/disabilities, people in the middle of taking baths, performing gi tube feedings... they're bonkers if they think we're gona give up our constitutional rights... they should have given a public addressment beforehand as a 'courtesy' to the citizens WHO PAY THEIR SALARIES. LOL. They need to let people know that their homes are going to be searched..for the teeerrorressts. Then I can wait before I get my mom's shitty diapers off, wiping her ass and changing her clothes; get her properly dressed and onto her wheelchair...if it's bad weather i'll also have to get her jacket and boots on... If they do this shit again, make sure everybody CALLS YOUR LOCAL NEWS STATION AND SHERIFF'S OFFICE, AND 911, AND YOUR FAMILY, AND YOUR NEIGHBORS, AND VIDEO TAPE IT. Make sure 'your're SEARCHING for their INTENTS' too. Can't WAIT. I'm gona ask the hunky SWAT guys to dispose of nana's diaper, AND help get her butt wiping cloths ready, AND ask, "hey fellas, would ya help me steady ma up and make sure she braces her hands onto the edge of the sink, and, if ya help me wipe her butt we'll get outta here faster". Then I'll appear on the 6'oclock news doing a recap of events. That'll be a juicy (no pun intended) story. |

There is specific legislation that cover emergencies such as these. I understand that no one wants to give up the legal rights but this is not an everyday situation surely you can see that. |

PS I know they said they had to bring in the army in relation to this because it was terror related and it becomes an issue of national security. But that was legislated they are not acting above the law I dont think. I think the fight would be better redirected to repelling certain legislation rather than bashing the cops. |

I agree that would be an horrible thing to go through. But that is the world we live in a lot worse things happen all over the world all the time. You have to remember why this was done. It was not to rape the woman of the house or still peoples belonging but rather in search for dangerous armed individual (at least that is what the cops believed) I think it is a little hasty to call it illegal. I think that a court room needs to rule on that. And like I said before there is legislation specific to situation such as these. |
Ozi dude User ID: 25272147 ![]() 04/23/2013 01:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I do not know. Maybe I am overreacting. I just do not feel like I live in America anymore. It feels like we are becoming a police state? Government controlled. It is depressing... and scary. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35385634 You know it is an evil thing to have you house your castle invaded. I have had my house broken into before and it is terrible, but to see the police do it is scary i agree with you. For you to have the descency to feel the pain of others is a great gift. YOu are not wrong that is not what I am suggesting. I think what you feel is justified. But your fight would be best directed at the legislation. All those event if they were orchastrated by the elite it was done in a way to fool all the police included. Then the legistlation is brought in that makes it leagal for situations like this to occure. I dont know how to fight the machine really it is very good at what it does. The only way i can see is to have everyone aware of what they do. If no one fears they have no power over us. But for that to happen everyone needs to rise above, and that is close to impossible i think. |

OK, so any teenager with access to a pressure cooker can shut down an entire U.S. city? An entire 1 million plus populated city. Yes a lot worse things happen all the time, and they don't shut down an entire city. They also don't go door to door forcing entry. IN America you have to have probable cause, and they did not have it. "A maybe armed teen is maybe hiding in this part of the city" is not probable cause. |

The problem is, someone who gets raided like this, if they make what looks like a wrong move, or takes to long to obey the orders being barked at them, that person can be killed, or wounded, or taken to jail and their lives ruined with all the charges, fines, and fees. No, this is not our country anymore. Probably really hasn't been at least since Kennedy, probably much earlier than that. This should not come as a surprise though, really, wasn't the entire U.S. declared a battle field in some piece of legislation that passed? |
