NASA just signed a new deal to pay Russia $70 million PER SEAT, to American astronauts hitch a ride on Soyuz.
I remember last year NASA closed a deal to pay $60 something million, for 3 years or so, now the contract suddenly changed again with a cost of $10 million more.

NASA has signed a new deal that will keep American astronauts flying on Russian spacecraft through early 2017 at a cost of $70.7 million per seat — about $8 million more per astronaut than the previous going rate.

The $424 million deal, which was announced today (April 30), is good for six seats aboard Russia's Soyuz space capsules. Under the agreement, Soyuz vehicles will now ferry NASA astronauts to and from the International Space Station through 2016, with return and rescue services extending until June 2017. The previous contract provided Soyuz flights for NASA astronauts through 2015, at a cost of roughly $62.7 million per seat.

Now I see why Russia stopped pointing out the holes in the Boston inside job, started getting along with the farce of the US government and suddenly started "collaborating" with the FBI...

Its hush money, so the Russians don't mention the "moon landings".

It seems that Sarah Brightman, the British singer, paid Space Adventures the sum of $150M (150 Million US Dollars) for a week's trip to the International Space Station on board Russian Soyuz ships.

Her flight is supposed to take place in 2015.

The cost is no concern. Her husband, the composer Andrew Lloyd-Webber is very rich and she has also got a big chunk of money of her own from her contracts as a singer.

$70.7 million per seat is for astronauts. Space tourists have to pay a lot more to fly to the ISS on the Soyuz, the only vehicle to take humans to the Station, that is if they ever get a seat.

The point of this thread is not discuss who is paying more to go to the ISS, wealthy civilians or American astronauts. The point is discuss the TIMING of the Boston events with the sudden extra-cost in a previous contract that was already signed, which looks a lot like a bonus to make the Russian government shut up about the FBI inside job.
