I've met exactly one guy in person who believes in chemtrails. We were talking about conspiracies, and I said something about how quite a few are plausible, but some are obviously BS, like chemtrails. He was surprised I didn't believe in them. He admitted that my explanation for long-lasting contrails made sense, but he still believed in them because it's the kind of thing he believes the government would do.
