has anyone else here experienced anything like this?

so i was driving around with a friend the other night. and we were listening to music and smoking some bowls... my mind started to wander and as time passed i felt as if our minds melded together and we could hear and understand eachothers thoughts. the creepy thing about it was i think my friend was on the same level and was well aware of the phenomena we both were experiencing. i cannot begin to figure out how this could be possible. and i refuse to speak of the experience to my friend in case of embarrassment. i know that yes i was pretty blazed and that could very well have been the reason why i felt like i was experiencing this. but after i dropped him off i couldn't help but pinch myself and ask the question.... is this real life?

has anybody else out there experienced anything similar to this with anyone else?
