i was going to ask how the fuck to suggest a thread be unpinned, but it was pretty apparent.
i can see how you might be alarmed by looking at that diagram and seeing the pixels touching, but note that at its closest point it is 0.0336AU from earth. now, i know that looks like a really small number, but it is ASTRONOMICALLY small. since outer space is really fucking huge, we came up with "astronomical units" to more easily describe distances between bodies in space. 1AU is the roughly the mean distance between the earth and the sun, so this asteroid is approaching within 3,123,315.12 miles of the earth. that's a lot of miles, folks.
