Quoting: Vision Thing We had a thread on here once with people saying how they eat raw garlic. I crush it into some olive oil to make dressing to put on salad, or add it to other food at the end of cooking. Mixing it with some oil or butter cuts the chances of getting an upset stomach, for me anyway. It's really good for your skin and your lungs. Lungs? Really? I am serious - is it really? |

Damrod User ID: 6266696 United States 05/12/2013 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I love Garlic! I eat it all the time as well as red onions and hot peppers. Here is a hot sauce recipe I make. 2 full heads of raw garlic (peeled) 1 raw medium to large red onion 6 to 8 raw habenero peppers 3-4 raw pablano peppers 3-4 raw serano peppers 3-4 raw Jalepeno peppers 1 cup of boiled baby carrots (just enough to soften them) Put it all in a blender add white vinegar or pickle juice as needed to whip to a puree'. I usually have to make it in two batches (1/2 the ingredients per batch) as the ingredients are more than a standard pitchers worth. Put in a jar and keep in the fridge for a week or two before eating it, let's the flavors marry and draws the heat out. I call it "Garlic Fire" and I eat in on just about everything. I love it! Disclaimer.... I will not be responsible for crying, farting, belching or any other issues you may experience from using above recipe. |

I warm the garlic cloves in the microwave a few seconds if they don't want to release their jackets easy. It makes them real easy to peal. Microwave adds radiation to your food. Throw it out immediately. Garlic is easy to peel. Just crush/ press down on it and it just pops out of its skin. |

Cyfer User ID: 62156164 United Kingdom 08/25/2014 08:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't know, it didn't do jack for me. I got a really bad tooth abscess a while back, it was in my gum right above the tooth (the root was infected). In an attempt to cure the abscess without having to go to the dentist for antibiotics + extraction, I bought a bunch of concentrated garlic tabs, crushed them, and basically held that powder in my mouth right up to the abscess, for long periods of time. When I got tired, I swallowed the powder and got a new pill. It was really painful, burning, and smelly, but of course worth it if it would cure the infection. Occasionally the skin around the abscess would rupture, which I thought was a good thing since the garlic could now get right into the open infection/bloodstream and hopefully take care of it. I also tried sleeping at night with the powder in my mouth at the infection point, so it didn't build up again while I was sleeping. Flushed and rinsed with diluted peroxide and salty water in between. Basically did everything right. But no. I ended up finishing the box (24 garlic pills) and the infection just kept coming back (even while I was taking them). So in the end, I had to go to the doctor and get the damn pills, which took care of the infection. The infection had already started to spread upwards, judging by the headaches/dizziness/weird pressure sensations. People, don't fuck around. I know you want to cure yourself. I did too. But this is not enough. About colloidal silver and the other stuff, haven't tried them. |

The same should be true for the eating of good food. Do not overdo it! Garlic can really harm some folks because they have digestive disorders, and then stomach acid can build up and burn their internal organs. |
