whats funny about this is there are already a lot of smaller business owners who don't pay overtime (yes, that is illegal..but) A place I used work for is independently owned and they couldn't afford to pay overtime, so if anyone accrued it they just saved it up and applied those hours to your next check. (again, it IS illegal, but oh well)
But the big companies, who actually can afford to pay overtime will probably be overjoyed to learn that they can just keep that money.
I'm hoping this isn't true. what a rip.
Quoting: oswaldkovsky its not,, you bank up hours to be used later or paid later. they are not screwing someone out of anything , it lets employees and employers more flexability for vacations,sick leave ect.
