It's an out of focus 'Airey' disk pattern - nothing more.

Any bright point of light will look like that if you de-focus while at high zoom.

I deliberately induce the pattern, through telescopes, on a regular basis.
When you know what to look for, it is a way of accurately aligning the optics of a telescope, and examining the 'figure' of an objective glass (primary lens or mirror)

If it looks like the video you linked, then it is most definitely out of focus.
That video shows an 'Airey' disk, because the crappy camera being used cannot focus a small light source.
If you do use a telescope regularly, you surely must recognise a de-focused Airey pattern when you see one.

The spots. or 'bubbles' as you call them, could be caused by several things - dust motes, or water spots (dew) on one or more glass elements of the lens being used.
And you can see at 1 min 45, when he zooms out, it is filmed from indoors - those spots might be generated by dust or water on the window glass, or even by aberrations in the window glass itself. Window glass is VERY poor optically, and you can see all kinds of anomalies when looking through window glass at high magnification.

In fact, the video you linked in the OP, is Venus.
Check the date it was uploaded (11th March 2012) then enter that date into a sky-mapping program such as 'Stellarium', 'Cartes du Ciel', or 'Starry night'.
Note that around that date, Jupiter was near to Venus in the sky.
It was a couple of magnitudes dimmer than Venus - a little to the left, and very slightly higher.
Do you see when the camera zooms at around 1 min 50 sec.
Whover shot the video, even makes a point of mentioning the 'star' to the left.
A couple of magnitudes dimmer, a little to the left, and very slightly higher.
Matches exactly with the relative positions of Venus and Jupiter, on the date the video was shot.

Anyone who has used a telescope very much, knows what Venus and Jupiter look like.
They do not look like the images he gets when he zooms in - proving that it is HIS CAMERA making them look like that.
The images he gets look EXACTLY like a de-focused Airey pattern - because that's what they are.

If you are seeing exactly the same thing, then I'm afraid what you are seeing is due to poor focus - NOT the object.

Thanks for taking your time to reply, its only a celestron and I do admit I have only had it a few months.
Theres defo no condensation or anything on the lens.
Im quite sure it is focused as I focus fine on other objects.
Im also a photography teacher I know how lens works and stuff.
The sky is white again today so I will not be skystalking tonight. Is venus low in the sky as this thing is lower then other stars its just above the horizon and does not move at the same time as the stars it is much much slower.

Hey sas
Celestron make some pretty nice scopes - depends on the model.

My mobile setup is a Celestron (an 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain) which I use with a tripod mounted equatorial.
Nice optics, with decent light-grasp, yet portable enough to put in the car and drive to a rural area away from urban light-polution.

Seriously - get out and use that scope more.
There are many wonders out there that you can see through a telescope - and in time you will come to be able to recognise things like the 'Airey' pattern for what they are.

 Quoting: sas21

yes, Venus is low to the West, shortly after sunset.
It has omly just begun it's evening apparitions, and will gradually get further from the Sun, and higher in the sky, over the coming weeks and months.

I wish the clouds would clear here, because over the next few days it is gonna pass by Jupiter (which is currently headed down towards the Sun)
Mercury is also there, in the same part of the sky - the 3 of them are due to make a roughly equilaterl triangle on the evening of the 26th - then after that, Jupiter will pass below Venus, and they'll be only a degree apart on the 28th.

Venus is interesting to watch over long periods - it shows phases like the Moon (but they change slower)
Currently almost 'Full' - Venus will be down to half-phase by late September - It'll be a crescent in late Nov/early Dec - and will be a very thin crescent at Christmas.

It can also be very funny on GLP when Venus is prominent.
All the loons come out and claim it to be anything from an alien ship, to Nibiru.
If comet ISON turns out to be as nice as predicted, I'm expecting a LOT of hilarious Venus/ISON confusion and conspiracy theories towards the end of this year.

are you one of Maitreya's guys?

Benjamin Creme said that this star is not a star but a huge spaceship to herald the coming of Maitreya... they are 4 spaceships in the 4 corner of the earth.

Benjamin Creme is deceived, Maitreya seems to be another name for Satan... and this so called spaceship is not really a spaceship but is materialized by the jinns/devils/aliens... all deceivers, beware!

tonight when you look at the nightsky you should see Jupiter, Mercury and Venus forming a triangle- they are in conjuction together..if you don't see " that star" your talking about in this formation, then its not Venus.

I've seen the same thing in the sky last year. Funny that you called it a "germ". This thing was not a star. It was changing shapes and seemed to be "alive"... It appeared and vanished again. Not sure what it was but it gave me the creeps too.

You can confirm whether it's Venus tonight if you have a clear view to the West just after sunset.

Venus, Jupiter and Mercury will be in a triangle formation tonight.
Venus is the brighter one, with Mercury pretty much directly above it, and Jupiter will be a little to the left of these, a little higher than Venus, but not as high as Mercury.
Venus will be the brightest of the 3, Mercury the dimmest, and Jupiter somewhere in between.

Worth taking a look if you can - especially with the scope, you should be able to see 4 of it's moons.
Tonight, Europa will be to the right - Ganymede and Io to the left, with Callisto further out on the right - Interesting to watch Jupiter from night to night and see those 4 moons 'dance' around the parent planet.

If Venus turns out not to be your 'star' - then it would be interesting to hear whereabouts in the sky it is, and then it could be identified.
Direction (N, S, E, W, NE, SW, etc.....) - approximate height - time of night - and your approximate location (don't need to be exact on that, just the nearest big town/city)

 Quoting: sas21

My personal field of interest are star clusters - though I'll look at anything that is interesting on any particular night - and I do a spot of sketching what I see through the eyepiece.
I posted this sketch of Comet PanSTARRS from mid-April - though no-one seemed interested at the time.
Thread: Are there many telescope users here? - Does anyone else sketch at the eyepiece?

As a suggestion for a first cluster to look at... How about two for the price of one..?
Best time will be midnight or so (IT doesn't get dark until very late in UK at this time of year)
To the North, look for a 'W' pattern of stars - that is the constellation 'Cassiopeia'
Left of there, and down towards the horizon, you should see a 'wonky' line of stars stretching away from the W, and downwards - that is 'Perseus'
About halfway between the bottom-left star of the 'W', and the nearest end star of Perseus....
Sweep that area with binoculars if you have them - or the scope at lowest magnification.
Two 'open clusters' of stars should be quite easy to see, nestled together, almost overlapping.
These are ngc869, and ngc884 - known as the 'Perseus Double Cluster'
And on closer inspection, you should see a chain of stars looping away from, then back around to, the right-most cluster.
It's almost as if the clusters are a pair of jeweled fobs, on a chain of diamonds.
Lovely in binoculars - and breathtaking through a good scope under a dark sky.

~"For the total development of the human being, solitude as a means of cultivating sensitivity becomes a necessity. One has to know what it means to be alone, what it is to meditate, what it is to die; and the implications of solitude, of meditation, of death, can be known only by seeking them out.
