Strange noises around the world really freak me out, I was hoping they were fake, then I heard some myself... What's going on??

Best explanation I came across was though it SOUNDS like it comes from the air, it actually comes from deep in the earth. Parts of the earth are cracking. Some speculated it is because of underground nuclear testing.

Maybe that's why so many sinkholes are popping up.

In the first video at 0:11 - 0:13 you can see a car passing, so the "low humming" sound could be due to traffic. As for the higher sound, it sounds man made and mechanical.

OP, was there anything else other than the road/highway nearby ? (construction, railway, airport ?)

Also the user's channel states China as the location, so which is it, GB or China ? ;)

Yes there is cars passing which adds to the sound, but I was in the woods surrounded by fields no industry, railway or airports. Does it sound like something from that list anyway? It felt as if it was coming from the sky. The longer clip could be mistaken for a plane maybe but I can assure you and with the shorter clips noise, that can be ruled out. Plus I go to that wood regularly dog walking and have never heard it before or since.

This was filmed outside Bristol uk. I set up my YouTube account whilst in china a few years back but I am from England and so is the noise. There is no railway for miles and miles just farm and wild animals
