Sun Active - 6 C class flares and an M Class, new series from 1748

Active pattern continues on overnight and last 2 flares are M 1/8 and 1.7 only 31 minutes apart. Looks like one double-peak M flare on the N3KL chart and the flaring continues - possibly 3 C's after that but the last one may not be through going up. The last C flares aren't yet recorded on the lmsal site. This type of recurring action is what made the Carrington event notable. Let's keep an eye on. May be time to unplug the electrics soon. Nothing of concern yet The sunspot that set those last flares off isn't yet listed. Don't know if incoming or not. [ link to www.lmsal.com]
