Interesting But- even in 1528 Martin Luther (who had to deal with the Turks invading) told the German Princes NOT to have a crusade, we can't go to war in the name of Christ for some very good Biblical reasons.

He suggested to go to war for the defense of the nation, understand the real nature of Islam and not be lackadaisical.

He also saw Islam as God's rod to punish Christians which given the current events in this country I would agree with him.

Gen. "Black Jack" Pershing did exactly this sort of thing in the Philippines. They were having a problem with Muslim insurgents. He had a patrol go capture a group. I think I read there were 12. Tied each of them to a post. Slaughtered a pig and had the firing squad dip their bullets into the pigs blood before loading. Shot all but one of the insurgents. Dug a long hole and threw all the dead ones in it then had the pig cut into pieces being careful to save the blood. Threw the whole mess on top of the bodies of the dead ones and closed up the hole.

He then released the one remaining live prisoner who, of course, went back to his group. The Muslim problem stopped.

The whole world never loved America. Immigrants wanted freedom and wealth and land. Most people just slogged away in the industrial revolution hoping their kids would do better than they did.

No - they want to kill us because we have (had) a religion which is based on faith and allows forgiveness based on the works of Christ. Because of that, human nature is to take advantage of that Grace and do things we shouldn't do.

Islam is a strict religion based solely on gaining salvation and paradise through their own adherence to the laws and rules of their religion. They HATE the freedom we have to life our lives without the shackles they think we should have. THAT's why they want to kill anyone who doesn't see it the Islam way.

I can assure you that if they come to the US chopping peoples heads off, that, indeed, they will meet some brutal resistance. I seriously doubt the US citizens, as asleep as they are will put up with that.

Case in point, look how brutal we can be when our football and basketball teams loose, now apply that to a bunch of people running around chopping peoples heads off.

..the radical Muslims have killed 17 Americans on US soil in the last 12 years..if you must be afraid, fear something that has thousands of times more danger to you, like your spouse, children or lightening...much much much higher chance of them harming you. We HAVE been more brutal than them...feel better? safer ? Radical Islam is a belief not a place, like racism or any hate thought accompanied with violent action. The IRA killed more Brits,in the UK, than all the Islamic attacks. Just as Irish folks finally rejected the terrorism that was being committed in their name, Muslims must reject the radicals among themselves. The Brits didn't stop the IRA, the IRA supporters did. You and I can't stop thought with brutal actions. By all means we need to protect ourselves and certainly use swift deadly actions when danger is found, I agree 100%. That will stop some acts but it won't change minds. It took decades for the civilized, white, Christian IRA to see the carnage they brought was wrong. A group one generation from the Bronze age with AKs and IEDs may take longer. We might start that process by removing our troops and dollars from Arab nations. Leave them alone, stop over throwing there leaders, stop paying dictators and kings. Let's try that for a while. Then they will go back to killing each other. I mean stop contact with them. No aid,loans,no oil,no visa for students or travel..zero..severe all contact. There are a few billion other people we can interact with.

good points - but I don't think we FEAR them like we did the Nazis. I think we Americans see them like we do a hurricane or a tornado, they cause disaster but it won't change anything in the end.

I fear what the democrats are doing with Washington more than Islam.
