What if there IS no 'GOD"?

I asked myself the same question, and found the answer 3 months ago.

Maybe there isn't? But what is it that makes you ask that question?

What if there was a god? Would that mean there is more than one god? What creates gods? Does gods god create gods?

Which came first, god or religion?

You can ask anyone if they have evidence of a god and the answer is no. What do I call belief in something in absence of evidence? I call it crazy lol. But think on the positive side, you are alive by some small chance. You get to enjoy the wonders of the universe if only for a small time, so make the most out of the time here.

Why do you say that, when you are in REM sleep, you are with me and I am with you. Then after you caste off the corporal matter from which you were formed out of, we again conscious.

Then the universe, including us, have no purpose , plan or reason to be. Would be very sad if that were the case.

So your stating you are only alive to serve a god you have never seen and if he didn't exist you would be a lost soul? Interesting... My purpose is to watch sports, eat pizza, drink beer, post on glp, chill with the gf in between. To me life is a gift, we have a short time here so try to leave it a better place than when you arrived and enjoy your time here.

Think of death as a rest you will never wake up from. Its nothing to fear, just as going to sleep every night is nothing to fear. Its a veryyyy long sleep.

It'll probably help - people will start to understand THEY'RE ALL THERE IS. They'll start to be more Human(e) to each other, they'll probably take up the Custodian banner and attempt as hard as they can to protect Earth and all its lifeforms from Corporate overthrow and poisonous ruin in the name of PROFIT

If there is no God (and people realise this) there's a chance they'll sling off the restrictive mantle of MPPRs or Mindless Political Propaganda Regurgitators aka sheople. I doubt it though, that people will even understand what this means.

Incorrect. What I said ( or rather, what I was trying to say was) If there were no god/ creator/ divine source , then what would be our purpose?...Eat Pizza??..lol, I hope not although I do like pizza and beer but I feel pretty confidant that's not the prime reason why we are here..:)

If their was a God then he would be really evil because of all the horrible things that he lets happen in this world.

So if we do have a God then he is not of goodness.

The problem is... that if there IS a God, then being perfect as he is, he knows all the outcomes even before he creates us.
That makes living life void of meaning, as there is no free will and God gains nothing from it.
That is, IF God is perfect. And if he isnt... is he really a God?

Yeah life is full of sadness and pain, also a little joy as well, which is what makes it so sweet and bitterly great to be alive. I guess..

Thanks for your concern..:) But While I did chuckle at your response you seem to have missed the mark. I don't "need" a magical space wizard to give my life purpose I just don't think life, the universe and everything came to be purely by chance...:)
