Interesting. Some years ago I read an article which described the anti-freeze like properties found in fish, animals, and, even plants that live in freezing environments. It was an eye-opener.

Just remember if it was frozen on contact, and now the permafrost is melting. That must mean either a) we have fucked this planet beyond redemption b) the times that froze it are returning, although Siberias permafrost may be melting, somewhere else will be getting colder as a result, polar shift? Ice age?
