Render unto God what belongs to God! What belongs to God?

I was thinking about this when it occurred to me. Because the money bears the inscription of Caesar it is to be rendered unto Caesar right?

Our currency bears the inscription in God we trust.

Not that God has any need for the currency of man, but following this logic the money belongs to God right? Render unto God what belongs to God. Because Jesus the Christ died so that our sins can be forgiven, and if the money belongs to God, then does that mean that our debts can be forgiven in the name of Jesus Christ?
