Re: Roadblocks in Alabama for DNA samples
ask yourself this. Why would they setup roadblocks for some samples if it was voluntary? Why not setup a booth at the shopping mall and advertise that folks will get paid for DNA sample since they said they paid the folks who volunteered to give samples at the roadblocks. They would get hundreds of willing volunteers as folks like free money.

They used roadblocks because they are conditioning folks to accept this firstly, and secondly they were running test cases to see what issues they ran into.

I actually think the request for DNA samples when it becomes mandatory will actually be screening for something, perhaps trying to detect alien hybrids, who knows, or maybe see who is carrying some deadly virus. But nevertheless these roadblocks imho were a test case for that

I live in this state, and don't give them enough credit to be "conditioning" anybody.
Just trying to get everybodies DNA for law enforcement purposes, hang the fifth admendment.
If they stop me I will ask for probable cause, and then deny their request under the fifth amendment

Re: Roadblocks in Alabama for DNA samples
It says:

Here's how the road blocks worked, Turrentine said:

Off-duty St. Clair County deputies stopped cars at random at road block areas. The road blocks were marked with signs stating it was a paid survey. Cars stopped were asked for voluntary cooperation. Drivers were offered $10 for a mouth swab, and $50 for a blood test. If they refused, they were free to drive away.
Road blocks took place Friday at the New London Fire Department, Alabama 34 in Pell City near the old Dan's Car Wash, U.S. 231 at Alabama 144, at White's Chapel Parkway and Moody Crossroads in Moody. In Bibb County, the road blocks took place in five areas in the county on Friday night through early Sunday morning.

If drivers participated, they were directed to an area where someone from the group carrying out the study took the samples, he said.

"It was completely voluntary," Turrentine said, saying reports that people were detained if they did not cooperate were untrue. "If they didn't want to take part, they could drive off."

The samples were anonymous, he said.

"They were taking the samples in other parts of the country," he said. "They want to find out of all the people surveyed, how many people were driving with alcohol in their system, or prescription drugs, things like that."
----

Now I'm sure you have to sign some kind of release for this information. So there's nothing to prevent it from being sold to the national crime database, right?

As best I remember, Bibb County is about 50/50 racially mixed black/white PLUS whatever the Hispanic population is now so likely has a white minority as do some of the counties south of it.

Is that a factor?
One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway.

Or a murderer. They do stuff like that to run it against murder cases where they have DNA but the DNA isn't in the system yet, so they don't know who it belongs to.
Guilty: is what our graves will read, no year no family. We did nothing, to stop the murder of people just like us..
