No, I have been working and hadn't had the time to get back. I love the advice but I don't need the personal criticism. I wouldn't waste my time driving by any "other" woman's house.

Nope. The problem is with MOST MEN See, it all started when they have decided to use their advantage of being physically stronger than woman. Men have a superiority complex. I know they have been abusing their position of power, since they've first walked the earth.
They earn MORE money in the workplace.
There hasn't been a woman president yet in the USA, because they think they are better, smarter, more creative, etc...than us females and think have the right to call all the shots. Everything has to be on THEIR terms and most of them love to control woman, yet want a mother figure to baby them and let them have their way.
There are still men today that think women are supposed to be in the kitchen, barefoot & pregnant, being their personal servant. It is what it is.
Go for a guy that will let you 'wear the pants' and try that.
You're guy has no appreciation or respect for you, and won't for any other woman, obviously. Some people are just like that. He is a total dick.

"supposed to have", instead of trying to say what he should have or what is best for him, try letting him decide that for himself. Sounds like you are projecting your personal feeling onto him and that is what is pushing him away.
