I'm watching America this morning news and they said 15 cities are considering a ban on soda sales with ebt. Anybody know what cities and how far this has made it? Sounds like a good plan, they should make you take a class on what foods are good and bad to get your food stamps. I know when you are on food stamps, its not like you can eat organic. But soda pop seems like a luxury item, And not a necessity.

They didn't mention the states or cities. But same here, I think anything non alcoholic that's edible can be bought on ebt. Including lobster, ready to feed baby formula and many other things that most of us consider to be a luxury item.
