Splenda Downgraded to a “Caution” Rating After Study Finds It Causes Cancer

I lost my mom to leukemia at the age of 57.

I really had put my thumb on the fact she was a military brat and lived many places but spent most of secondary school age in Hawaii. I figured all the nuclear testing in that region in the years just previous to her schooling was the major factor to her cancer. Now I have to look into Splenda and reorganize my thoughts.

Find your way out of these industrialized farms and back to nature people...

I lost my mom to cancer as well. She was WAY into Splenda. She even had a Splenda dessert cookbook. I want to sue those assholes! I really miss her.

splenda made my throat swell shut. Figured it out after a couple trips to the ER.

If so, would Romanians accept a foreigner? my fiancee is Romanian and we have talked about moving to Romania.

I am a bit worried about not being accepted there though, the people as a whole are good people but the folks in the countryside...hmm...

We want to buy a farm and live off the land, she has family in Oltenia.

Do you think they would accept a foreigner? I am a hard working guy and I will try to learn Romanian.

I use stevia as a sweetener.

Someone gave me a drink called Fruit H2O that has Splenda in it. Only drank half a glass and had sharp pain in both kidneys for a week. It's in everything now. Studies also show it causes kidney stones in lab rats. No wonder there are so many kids with kidney problems. Another "Natural" sweetener approved by the FDA.

Stevia is supposed to be safe. I don't think I've ever used it.

Unbelievable! Surely as new findings come out FDA approval will be reversed? Or, is it a matter of the public bitching and bitching about it before anything is done?

The Pharmaceutical clowns run the FDA. The sicker you get the more money they make. Don't hold your breathe waiting for a reversal. It's all about $ not public health.

You are saying, in a round about way, that chemical companies are tied in with drug companies are tied in with health care mandates?

Look up the connection between Donald Rumsfeld and aspartame. The approval of aspartame was purely political. The science behind aspartame was all bad, brain cancer, neurological problems, etc, etc. Rumsfeld got it approved and made a bundle. Rumsfeld was also involved with Tamiflu, treatment of choice for swine flu.

Also read Knockout by Suzane Somers or Cancer Step Outside the Box by Ty Bollinger. The basic treatment for cancer hasn't changed in 50 yrs. Surgery, chemo and radiation. High doses of vitamin C are more effective as are other alternatives. But any researcher that starts to see good results gets invaded by an FDA swat team, clinic closed, computers, bank account and records seized, and gets thrown in jail. The powers to be don't want anyone messing with their cash flow. Imagine having the power to shut down a clinic that is threatening the status quo with a swat team.

I've been suspecting something is wrong when my friends are hitting me up to sponsor their "walk" every year for cancer awareness yet there is never a cure.

I never sponsor because I'm already aware, thank you. I want to sponsor prevention, for starters. They never talk about prevention.

My friends don't see my point and I'm cold-hearted.

I'll read the two books. Feel like I'm finally getting somewhere with connecting the dots.

The best prevention I have found is the book Detoxify or Die by Dr Sherry Rodgers. She says that 95% of cancers are dietary or environmental, pesticides and plastics being the main culprits. She cites the fact that researchers inject healthy rats with chemicals to give them cancer. There are over 400 chemicals that can cause cancer. She also cites examples where entire families have gotten sick after using flea bombs or being exposed to other pesticides. She recommends far infrared saunas and a detox cocktail of Vitamin C, glutathione, and alpha lipoic acid to flush out the plastic and pesticide residues in our bodies. She has been a guest on The Power Hour Radio program numerous times and you can search their mp3 archives. She makes a lot of sense.
