I got one of these when i was younger and the people who didnt opt for an attorney got hosed, 500 dollar fine and 2 years private probation. Basically another 200 dollar scam. So much for your reasoning ability! Generally, once you let the cops in, they can pretty much do whatever they want, especially if a law has been broken. It part of their job to investigate if you are guilty, thus the breathalyzer. |
