NO SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER - NO STATE ISSUED BIRTH CERTIFICATE - GOOD OR BAD?
I know a family that has children who have no SS# or State issued Birth certificate. Are they required by law to be register with the State?

How can the parents claim their children as dependents for tax deduction without SS# for them?

I don't know of any law that requires an individual to purchase an ID card.

This explains the one star. Somebody thinks it's dumb not to have a SSN and a State B.C.

Re: NO SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER - NO STATE ISSUED BIRTH CERTIFICATE - GOOD OR BAD?
Good Idea.

Sure it will make it tougher on the kids later in life to easily find work. They will also have to do a lot of explaining to future employers, power company, Phone Companies( Etc) who they are and why they cant provide SS#.

But that's exactly what the kids need to learn. They are not just a number, and they will know their rights. They will also learn much more on how to be independent.

Overall its a Great idea. I tried very hard to keep my own kids from getting a SS# and Birth contract. In every case the mother went a did it anyway. Everyone regrets it now.

it means the mother didn't waive her rights to let the banks own the children.

she now actually is the true mother and parent of her children that came from her water and is not a part of maritime admiralty law.

her children are not assets and modern slaves used to pay back this countries debt.

literally free.

Re: NO SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER - NO STATE ISSUED BIRTH CERTIFICATE - GOOD OR BAD?
I'm middle aged and we were born without ss#'s. We only went and got them when we wanted a drivers license or a part time job while in H.S.

I almost didn't get one until it was explained to me that it's okay not to have one but just know that you'll never have a job, be able to own anything, etc...

It's possible that I could have done it (being a women it would have been easier to just be totally dependent on someone else) but i'm independent so I needed one.

Sometimes I wish I would have learned to navigate the world without one and I think it's a shame it's assigned to babies now. Sometimes even parents use and abuse their own children's SS and by the time the child is 18, his/her credit is already ruined and their SS is useless, anyway while trying to open a bank account or anything else.

Actually before the Patriot Act I knew many people who had non-interest bank accounts without a SSN. However I think you may be right about today.

The drivers license depending on what state didn't require a DL.
