freaky elevator dreams
had one again this morning, had one a few years ago that was the most vivid real nightmare i'd ever had. what is is about elevator dreams?

this morning's one was quite freaky in that the elevator was taking me to floors i didnt press and didnt exist.

in between floors and beyond the amount of floors listed to select.

at every stop was the same carnival barker looking man to greet me. i didnt get out. he had a big mustache and like a bowler hat.

he would say some wierd things i dont recall except for right before i awoke he asked if i wanted to continue or cancel the
experience. i chose to cancel and i awoke.

a key thing about the elevator ride was that it was working normally until i tried to mess with the doors. when i was holding the doors for a while like the inside doors or something it began to act all strange and the dream got lucid.

a few years ago i had an elevator dream in which i got off on what looked like a hospital floor full of neglected burn patients or other sick and dying people when i wasnt even in a hospital building to begin with.

and there was a real evil lookin scary dude on that floor who was coming after me.

Re: freaky elevator dreams
Every now and again I have scary dreams about elevators. I step into an elevator and push the button to go to the top floor. I'm afraid to go straight up and straight down in a fast elevator for fear that the queasiness will be too intense for me. Sometimes I'm afraid to so much as step foot inside the elevator.

Re: freaky elevator dreams
As a five-year-old I had a dream about a bad experience I encountered while riding in an elevator with a little boy. The little boy encouraged me to ride the elevator with him, and as he and got on the elevator I saw a giant question mark on the floor of the elevator. When the elevator started and stopped it made me feel sick to my stomach. I wanted off the elevator, but fortunately the dream ended before I got off. Later that same year my bad dream became a reality. My family and I went on a field trip to the Tampa International Airport. I didn't know they had elevators until we were in the parking garage. I was itching to ride the elevator, and we did. There was so many of us that we had to cram into the elevator. We went up to the top floor, and when the elevator stopped, it made my stomach feel funny, just like in the dream. For a long time I was afraid to ride the elevators at Tampa International airport and hated it up until 1987. Now I LOVE it. When the elevator stops I imagine that I'm getting a hug from a beautiful lady, and it makes my insides feel good.
