Al-Akhbar, a Lebanese Newspaper revealed security leaks from a security apparatus of a regional country involved in the armed conflict in Syria.

The leaks say that two Qatari officers were in charge of transmitting the chemicals substances used previously in Khan al-Assal through Turkey to the armed groups that carried out the operation.


The operation was carried out with previous knowledge of Turkish authorities; those details shared with the Russian Intelligence which kept the case up with the Turkish authorities.

Both officers are Major Fahed Saied al-Hajiri and Captain Faleh Bin Khaled al-Tamimi.

The leaks also say that Turkish authorities tried to camouflage the operation after the Russian Intelligence’s queries by announcing the arrest of 12 people of al-Nusra Front members carrying a chemical substance.

The Newspaper linked that to previous Turkish reports that said that on Thursday 30 May Turkish police raided some points in Istanbl, Marsin Adana, and Hatay near the Syrian borders arresting 12 persons with 2 Kilograms of sarin gas; nevertheless all the Russian queries received no answers.



The leaks also show that such information are contrasting to the Russian estimates that both officers were killed in an alleged explosion in Somalia, pointing out the suicidal explosion targeting some Qatari vehicles in Mogadishu on May 5.

At that time world news agencies talked about the death of 8 people at least, when a suicidal bomber drove an explosives laden vehicle into a governmental parade including Qatari officials at a crowded crossroad in the Somali capital.

Reuters also reported a “Security source” that the Qatari delegation visiting Mogadishu which was in the armored vehicles of Somalia’s Ministry of Interior “was not hurt” citing no more details.

Other media reports asserted Qatar’s blackout on the death of two senior Qatari officers along with Syria’s Recruitment Coordinator.



Reuters reported an eyewitness called Yousef saying that “I saw 8 bodies including a woman’s, some of the corpses were charred due to the fire, it was so horrible”.

BBC’s correspondent in Somalia, Mohamed Ibrahim, said that the explosion injured 10 people.

More reports maintained that the targeted armored vehicle was damaged that its back windows were completely shattered.

The booby-trapped car was detonated near the police office in (4-Kilometer neighborhood), a very crowded neighborhood in Mogadishu.

The movement of (al-Shabab al-Mujahideen) claimed responsibility saying that the Somali Interior Minister (Abd al-Kareem Husain Joulied) was their target, who previously labeled them as (foreign mercenaries).
