You traitor! Etc. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41941507 Wtf? What angle are they viewing this from? They are mostly conservatives but a few libs. He's not a traitor hes a whistleblower. The difference is he revealed what the govt was doing TO US. He seeks asylum because now those he exposed want to hurt him. Running away is the only option. to be honest...HE IS A TRAITOR. simply because the government trusted him doing his JOB which he got paid for. sure...spying on the world is a sign of distrust to the entire planet showing the current us government either is scared as hell in wake of terrorism OR just wants to be the number one STALKER ORGANISATION IN THE WORLD. that is one thing but becomming a criminal to uncover criminals is another. btw...howcome noone accuses the us government to be traitor, too? sue them for a billion tons of gold and the gdp of the next 1000 years and they wont ever do this again. You're talking absolute bollocks. The government is treacherous, the state does NOT look after you. It looks after itself. Would you like it if someone cam into your house, looked through you letters, looked through your draws, checked your pockets. I hope your answer is NO, if your answer is YES then you won't mind coming round to your house and having a root, well let me tell you that is what the American government is doing to every citizen, every person who it deems to be a "terrorist" right now. Good on Edward Snowdon it's about time this world knew what our so elected politicians are doing to us. Time to stand up the the NWO. |

Yes he thought about it. He mentioned it in an interview, for the average American, getting killed by a terrorist was hightly unlikely. |

We are living in different times. 30 or 40 years ago I would have called him a traitor. Today...no. It is the US government who are the traitors against the people and the US constitution. It was good that he did what he did. Someone needs to do something to bring this government to their knees. He and/or his supporters will not be tried based on your opinion. There will be a judge who makes the call. Any American who calls for someone to bring this govt to their knees is considered a dissident. If it happens, Americans will be whining that it happened. It would create chaos and disruption in services. Bet on it. Americans would condemn the group who brought it on. LOL Yep, there will be a judge who makes the call. A judge who is controlled by the Government. There is no fairness in American anymore. The gov will get what they want, no matter what. And yes...this government needs to be brought down. Let them come and get me. SOME Americans will be whining, but they are whining no matter what happens. They are the brain dead sheep. Maybe it will actually wake them up, if they aren't too far gone from all the GMO's and fluoride they have been consuming. |

Most of the more sophisticated terrorist cells, groups and organizations have all changed communications methods to avoid this long ago... You're looking at the NSA and other agencies too narrowly. There was, and is much more going on here than just national security and counterterrorism.... They are terrified of being completely exposed. Especially the agencies, top officials and agents loyal to the administration. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 28273588 United States 06/23/2013 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42095518 Through the legal system, not through people's opinion of how it is supposed to be interpreted. Senators said that PRISM was legal. It is legal because Mitch McConnel worked on the definition of electronic surveillance to make it legal. This will be worked out according to how the courts interpret the law and the Constitution. Have you ever seen a ruling you disagreed with? Well you might get to see another one, before this is over. 4th Amendment Text The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. Article 3, section 3, clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution specifies that the giving of aid and comfort to the enemy is an element in the crime of Treason. Aid and comfort may consist of substantial assistance or the mere attempt to provide some support; actual help or the success of the enterprise is not relevant. On a different note: Al Qaeda and the Taliban are enemies, yet the US government is supplying them with arms and intel and training, which is high treason. And illegal according to International Law, against the Geneva Convention. Supplying non governmental groups with arms is against the law. Bingo!! The West no longer has credibility or authority on the issue of Terrorism and Treason given that the West is currently a state-sponsor of Terrorism via the "Syrian Rebels"(who are neither Syrian nor Rebels). |

He sacrificed everything to bring the truth to the American public and they're too blind to see. It's so sad that so much of the American pubic is too involved in sports and television fluff that when true drama plays out, they support the home team without ever looking at the players. The players don't represent your home team because they have a foreign agenda no matter what colors they choose to wear. |

Maybe Snowden has some of this kind of material. Compiled cover-ups, he would of pulled out alot, everything he could get picked upon information priority/value. He was going to whistle years ago. In his situation you have to know where you're going, and have the upperhand by planning and doing it right the first time! Heck, maybe it's leading into the biggest false flag yet. Although, I want to believe he is genuine. Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation's for cowards. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 41435201 United States 06/23/2013 10:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Some people seem to think, the govt went against the Constitution first on the 4th Amendment, so they are free go against Article 3 and support a traitor. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42095518 Legally - both would be against the law. Who did wrong first is not a principle in law? Seldom would it get you forgiveness, but perhaps a lighter sentence. And if the courts found that the 4th ammendment had not be gone against, the supporters of the traitor would get a body slam. You just can't make this sh*t up. Any American supporting Snowden because of the Constitution is like a dog chasing their tail. Knowing of a crime taking place and not doing anything about it is illegal. Knowing of corruption in the WH and do nothing is treason. People of the US are obligated to their governments condition of sanity. Should a domestic enemy present itself and a citizen does nothing, the citizen is breaking laws. In other words, it is illegal to NOT act if you are aware of a domestic enemy to the State. You are correct, however, I fear most are too cowardly, and/or illiterate to grasp the concept. |

PROBABLY! so if there is a threat of terrorism...... it will get much harder to cover them after snowden spoke out. i bet he didnt think about this when he decided to talk. we all do not know for sure which threats are out there. Which is precisely the outcome this whole psyop was designed to accomplish....at least in the minds of the sheeple. To make this supposed Snowden's leaks truncate terror prevention or, as later reports would suggest, seemingly harder (in the sheeple's minds) for supposed terror acts to be detected and prevented thereby allowing the mother of all false flags to slip through and occur on their watch and thus justified all thanks to Snowden. They threw you lot a bone and you fell for it. This is why you should read these threads I made. I saw this coming from afar of and forewarned of it from day one. It is also for you lot to justify the impending clash of Russia and China with the USA. Snowden didnt release anything new not already known to those paying attention. So what is new in his revelation? Nothing! The only thing is that the PTB have made this supposed leak a public knowledge and one must wonder why they did this. The reason why is because, just as you have stated above, for you to believe every other thing they say on the backs of this. These points are covered in my threads. Thread: US on PRISM: "Sorry, we are spying on you! Outraged? Wonder why all this is necessary? Dont worry, we'll justify this soon!"
