It was after a visit from Paul and Barnabas that a group a followers started referring to themselves as Christians. Or so the story goes. Unless you think that part was tacked on or refuse to think Paul considered himself a Christian at the time your statement is based on either ignorance or wild speculation as he has been credited with writing half of the NT books.
