No, they won't be suspended just loose privileges probably like participating in sports or other activities.

Suspended them from the sports teams that keep them busy after school so they have nothing to do now and can smoke even more pot and drink even more alcohol than usual. Very smart thinking process behind this idea IDK, it would suck being the star football player then getting booted off for being drunk. I like the idea, I'm surprised parents were against it. There should be a penalty, just like how some work places require drug testing or they get fired. School should prepare them for the real world.
