MaxMad User ID: 39464638 United States 06/26/2013 11:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The New England Patriots have released tight end Aaron Hernandez after he was arrested Wednesday morning at his Massachusetts home. Quoting: Nostril Domus The release comes just two hours after Hernandez was taken out of his home in handcuffs. Hernandez was arrested after four unmarked police cars pulled up to his home and placed the Patriots tight end into custody. The team called the release of Hernandez “the right thing to do” in a statement released on Wednesday: “A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do.” [link to tracking.si.com] Raiders will pick him up.. |

Only to returnto the NFL for another 15 years? Just saying... You never know what's going to come out of an investigationlike this. It could very well be a situationwhere Hernandez is not giving the police the information they want, and as a result they are putting him through the ringer... Warrior of the Apocalypse |

Guy belongs in the inside of the can, not on tv with a super bowl ring. Total garbage human being. |

The NFL always gives second chances. Getting convicted of Obstruction is not going to end a superstars career. Unless he simply does too much time, which he won't. Too much money, too many connections. The fucking people arresting him are probably huge fans of his. |

He killed someone and not only got away with the killing but just won the superbowl... Hernandez is fucking good. If he can get picked up and is not in prison for too long, he will get picked up. While I am no fan of Ray Lewis, and by no means am defending him, he was never accused of murder...he was suuspected of being an accessory to murder and was closely associtated with the person who actually murdered. He was always accused of being an uncooperative witness and obstructing the investigation in order to protect his friend - you know when you're from the hood being a snitch is just about the worst thing you could be |

He had it made. Quoting: CuriosityCat1 It's like I have heard people say before "You can take the boy out of the ghetto, but you cannot take the ghetto out of the boy!" Don't worry. Ray Lewis went through the same thing and was a 13- time pro bowler and won 2 Super Bowl rings. Now, the NFL Network has hired him to a multi-million dollar contract. Things will work out for Hernandez too. |

Hernandez has an extensive history. He DOESNT have to play another down of football dummy. Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft made that clear when he was released. He should be honored that I thought he is Mexican, since Mexicans are the superior variety of hispanic. |
