I know how he feels. I was a corrections officer at Joliet/Stateville Chicago. I was on camera and gate closure assignment in the rotunda. A white shirt captain gave me the signal to close the scissor doors on a hallway. I couldn't see the inmate with his arms through the doors off camera. I pushed the button as instructed and broke both his arms.
Next thing I knew I had 5 black inmate gang members at the rotunda screaming I was a dead mother fucker.
I had to be escorted in, out and around the facility for a week before I got a job offer I had been waiting on back home at the fire department. They were hunting me every minute I was in that prison for a week.
So I know how he feels in a small way. Yet Z can't escape it like I did.
He's a dead man if he's acquitted. He needs to leave the country.
