According to what is clearly heard on the tape to the dispatcher, when Trayvon confronted Zimmerman and accused him of following him. Zimmerman was looking for the street address to tell the cops, who were ALREADY on the way, where to meet him.


I think blacks have collectively lost their minds since Obama was elected and now think they are some how above the law and normal social contract.

All this could have been avoided if Trayvon had gone on into his father's home when he reached it and not circled back to confront Zimmerman.

His parents failed him when they didn't teach him even basic respect for others.

On the same situation given the time of night and circumstances, I would have ambushed Zimmerman and overpowered him without giving ANY warning at all, and legally I would be within my rights since any reasonable person would feel threatened under the same circumstances, Thats how the law is supposed to work. The Standard of Law for the use of lethal force is that the shooter possess "reasonable fear for one's life, or the life of another, in the immediate moment where said lethal force is used". There are other caveats from state to state, but this is the heart of the matter.

I've been carrying a pistol for 20+ years, have hundreds of hours of training in firearms law and the legal standards for defensive use of force, I have served in several war zones, and have done real killing in my life, because it was necessary. I am neither proud nor ashamed of what I have done - it just is. Killing is not glamorous (like movies or video games), and it's certainly nothing to celebrate, but when a sober man knows that he has just cause to exercise deadly force, if he does so then so be it.

I am not in the Jury Box, so whatever I think about the particulars of the case...just doesn't effin matter; and your opinion carries no more weight than mine, unless you are on that Jury. Period

All the imbeciles making a mass spectacle of this case, dragging race and politics into the arena of this trial, are the real criminals IMHO, and should be held accountable for any violence which their words incite.
